Radio Awards Directory

This web resource of The Association of Independents in Radio (AIR) offers a listing of awards specifically pertaining to radio. While the awards are generally intended for Americans, some foreign awards have been included as well. The website describes the difficulty of determining what to include or exclude on the list and provides this example. "If an agency gives an annual award for increasing the visibility of ferrets as pets, is the award really a radio award or a ferret award? If the ferret group in question specifically states that they give an award either generally to 'broadcast media' or specifically to radio projects, we have included them. If the connection to radio is either tenuous, or the agency had no record of ever giving an award to a radio producer, the entry was not included in this list."
