North America Social Marketing Conference - October 1- 2 2019 - World Social Marketing - Ottawa, Canada

The North American Social Marketing Conference brings together academics and practitioners from across the continent in social marketing and behaviour change, and focuses on using marketing tools and principles to create positive social change in a variety of areas. The mission of the conference is to aid in the identification, spreading and nurturing of best practice in Social Marketing and behaviour change across a range of sectors and disciplines. The conference aim is to help others increase the efficiency and effectiveness of behaviour change programmes at both operational and strategic levels by providing the world’s leading forum for professionals seeking to influence and change behaviour for social good.
Conference tracks:
- Promoting global health and reducing the global impact of disease through behavioural influence
- Mental health and wellbeing
- Reducing the impact of addiction including substance, misuse alcohol, tobacco and gambling
This will be the first North American specific event for the World Social Marketing Conference family of events. Over 200 individuals attended the European Social Marketing Conference in 2018, and there were a record number of submissions for the World Social Marketing Conference, which took place in Edinburgh earlier this year.
