Collection of New Journalism [Colección Nuevo Periodismo]

The Collection of New Journalism makes accessible to the Spanish-speaking public the ideas and the experiences of some of the better-known international journalists and teachers at the Fundación Nuevo Periodismo Iberoamericano.

Contents include the following sections:

• Anthologies [Antologías]: journalistic texts such as chronicles and reports. These include a selection of the "best of" the New Journalism Prize [Premio Nuevo Periodismo] CEMEX+FNPI, and articles by journalists who have attended workshops of the Fundación Nuevo Periodismo Iberoamericano.
• Masters [Maestros]: through in-depth interviews of teachers of Latin American journalism, this section focuses on its formation, the milestones of the profession, stories and experiences, as well as a historic panorama of journalism in Latin America.
• Workshop Books [Libros del Taller]: from workshops provided by reporters and publishers of America and Europe, this section includes information on journalistic quality, journalistic types, ethics, and cultural journalism.
• Manuals [Manuales]: this section offers texts of reflection and theory for best performance in the profession: methods and technical aspects, narrative journalism, investigative journalism, and others.

The titles in this collection include: "Santa Evita, La novela de Perón y El vuelo de la reina [Santa Evita, The novel of Perón and The flight of the queen]" by Tomás Eloy Martínez, "La invención de la crónica [The invention of the chronicle]" by Susana Rotker; "Técnicas de investigación [Techniques of investigation]" by Daniel Santoro; "El zumbido y el moscardón [The buzz and the moscardón]" by Javier Darío Restrepo; and "Los cinco sentidos del periodista [The five senses of the journalist]" by Ryszard Kapuscinski.
